Here
are copies of the slides used by the Airport's Head of Business Development,
Charles Buchanan, in briefing the Airport's Consultative Committee
on the Airport's Operational Improvements Programme (5th April 2000).
By the beginning
of 2003, having secured planning permission for the improvements,
the Airport had implemented those at the Western End (completed August
2002) and work was about to start on the Runway Holding Point.
A date for work to start on the extension of the Apron had still to
be fixed..
